Bronx Political Chatter is a no holds-barred, irreverent look at politics in the Bronx. Bronxites have long lacked an independent forum to express our views about local politics and politicians. Bronx Political Chatter is a place for you to openly express your views, ideas, criticisms and suggestions, and to make our elected officials more accountable for the decisions they make. So this is your turn to be heard.

Could Republicans Take Back State Senate?
Here are two articles that focus on the strong prospect that the Republicans could retake the State Senate. The first is by David King of the Gotham Gazette and the second is by Kenneth Lovett of the Daily News. Is anyone surprised that the Democrats are scrambling to hold onto the majority after screwing things up so badly in Albany?

A scary thought to be certain, but obviously the Democrats have brought it on themselves.
ReplyDeletethe idea of Republican or Democrat in NY is a joke. Republicans spend like drunken sailors and cut sweetheart union deals while on the Dem side we have a pro-gun lobby Senator (at least she was) and pro-life State Senators
ReplyDeleteNo, I'm not surprise at all!
ReplyDeleteAll of the young Democrats leadership with fresh ideas are being shown the door or sent to the back of the line.
So we are left with the same old men, with the same old ideas, indulging in the same "OLD SHIT!"
If the Republicans regain the State Senate, the Dems have only the, selves to blame. Instant karma.
ReplyDeleteLife is funny.
