Senator Klein Pushes for Enforcement of Foreclosure Cleanup

The Real Deal reports that State Senator Jeff Klein is pushing for enforcement of a law he wrote dealing with the upkeep of foreclosed apartments. Under the law the owners are required to maintain the property after foreclosure, but the Senator is claiming that too many owners are not complying and that could have led to a fatal fire in the Bronx.

  1. He's wearing a necktie. Didn't he recently complain that they are unsanitary?

  3. I'm more worried about tolls. Don't believe it when Governors Cuomo & Christie express surprise over the possible hikes in Port Authority commuter fees.

What a poverty whore. The legislation he needed to write, years ago, were time tables for financial institutions to approve loan modifications. If a homeowner cannot afford to maintain a property, what makes this ninny think a Bank will? Is that his Senate girlfriend next to him?
