Bronx Political Chatter is a no holds-barred, irreverent look at politics in the Bronx. Bronxites have long lacked an independent forum to express our views about local politics and politicians. Bronx Political Chatter is a place for you to openly express your views, ideas, criticisms and suggestions, and to make our elected officials more accountable for the decisions they make. Schneiderman's Bumper-Gate
It's not Chappaquiddick, but is certainly a bone-headed driving incident by someone running to be the chief law enforcement officer for NY State. State Senator (what else) Eric Schneiderman, who is running for NY Attorney General, failed to stop after his aide bumped another car. The damage to the other car was minimal, but the damage to his reputation was priceless. This goes in that special category where the cover-up is worse than the crime.

Exactly right. This incident reveals Eric Schneiderman's arrogance and lack of proper judgment. That's not a good combination in a public official.
ReplyDeleteSo he wants to be the chief law officer of our state and represent the government in litigation?
