Bronx Political Chatter is a no holds-barred, irreverent look at politics in the Bronx. Bronxites have long lacked an independent forum to express our views about local politics and politicians. Bronx Political Chatter is a place for you to openly express your views, ideas, criticisms and suggestions, and to make our elected officials more accountable for the decisions they make. So this is your turn to be heard.

As I've often said, how about term limits for District Attorneys?
ReplyDeleteQueens County District Attorney Richard A. Brown has been in office since 1991 (22 years). And both the Bronx County District Attorney, Robert T. Johnson, and the Kings County (Brooklyn) District Attorney, Charles J. Hynes, have been in their posts since 1989 (24 years!).
Just imagine if the United States had the same Attorney General for 5 presidential administrations.
Things that make you go, “Hmmm.”
How outrageous! I'm appalled..... oh sorry, disappointed,.. yes that's right I'm disappointed.
ReplyDeleteThe DA should appointed, not elected.
